My name is Devin Nicholson. I hold a Bachelor of  Science in Computer Science. I received this degree in August of 2021. I have since devoted my time and energy on furthering my education through various courses on platforms such as Udemy and Coursera. This expanded learning has really helped me discover what I truly enjoy, and that is data. This was quickly discovered by the fact that I have always loved a good story and really enjoy solving puzzles. To me, that is what data is. A puzzle that needs to be solved in order to tell a good story.

A good metaphor I equate to working with data is partaking in an escape room. The escape room is the database and within that database are various clues that lead to the unlocking of what you are searching for. The clues and answers are not always apparent, but they are there, waiting to be found. When you search long and hard, eventually finding those specific pieces that fit together to unlock something, that stimulating feeling of accomplishment is extraordinary.
